Research on student attitudes, behaviors, and technology challenges in large online STEM courses (Faculty Sharing Session)

Chris Bauer and Kathleen Jeffery (Dept of Chemistry) have been conducting research investigations into student responses to online learning in May and December 2020 surveys for the large introductory chemistry courses. All of these courses were taught synchronously for lectures and in-person for laboratory. Survey results will be highlighted. Dr. Jeffery will also showcase how she used zoom breakout rooms, google documents, and flipgrid to engage students during class sessions and in assignments.
