Accessibility 101

Website accessibility plays a fundamental role in how we communicate information to our target audience and general public. In this, our first in a series of meet-ups designed to foster a community of practice, we will discuss your role in keeping your website content accessible. See for yourself first-hand how a poorly coded site presents challenges to volunteers demonstrating the use of assistive technologies. Learn what you can (and cannot) do to assure your site pages meet current guidelines. Hear stories from areas of the university engaged in a variety of accessibility efforts.

Please join us for this important event and become part of the culture of awareness surrounding accessibility as it relates to the UNH web presence and all areas of the university community.

The Drupal Meet-up series is designed to foster a community of practice surrounding the use of Drupal and managing UNH website content. Timely topics of interest to all members of this community will be offered two or three times a year. The setting and presentation is designed to be informal and will include technical demonstrations and an opportunity for social interaction.
